Elizabeth Hausler spoke on the interactive roundtable session on urban development. The session focused on how inclusive, resilient cities are critical to achieving the SDGs, but creating such urban centers requires new models, technology, and coalitions. We hosted a convening on “Innovative Uses of Technology in Post-Disaster Reconstruction” with Clinton Global Initiative in New York City. Staff from our HQ and Nepal offices shared our experience using mobile apps and drone technology to support safer reconstruction in Nepal, and how these technologies are contributing to a safer future.
