Urabá Antioqueño: Empowering Communities

In the Colombian region of Urabá Antioqueño, thousands of families live in vulnerable conditions, with homes exposed to disasters and the impacts of climate change. Thanks to the support of Echoing Green, Build Change has worked alongside the Popular Housing Organization, CORPADETN, to reinforce five homes, strengthening communities without compromising their traditions. Each intervention respects the cultural identity of the region and provides much-needed structural safety.

This project combines technical assistance with local knowledge, ensuring sustainable and scalable solutions. In this way, we demonstrate that resilient housing not only protects lives but also empowers communities to lead their own development.
