Sarah Bush has dedicated her 20-year career to addressing humanitarian challenges in her roles with the Field Museum of Natural History, the American Cancer Society, where she served as VP for a 12-state region, and ShelterBox, an international disaster relief organization. She has a knowledge of the post-disaster shelter world, having served as National Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships for ShelterBox USA for over 5 years.

Prior to that, she spent 12 years with the American Cancer Society, from boots-on-the-ground community engagement in Alaska in her early days, to inspiring thousands of volunteers and leading staff teams, to reenergizing the board in fundraising efforts during her time as a Vice President there.

Sarah enjoys hiking, photography, and cooking, and can usually be found exploring the Southwest and her home state of New Mexico or spending time outdoors with her family in Alaska.
