Noll Tufani is a senior international development professional and housing resilience expert. Noll’s first exposure to an internationally funded
reconstruction effort was in the year 2000 in Kosovo, where he worked for the European Union.

Following the 2010 Haiti earthquake, Noll’s focus turned to housing resilience through his work at Build Change.

Noll led Build Change’s post-disaster programs in Haiti and subsequently in Nepal following the 2015 earthquakes there. Highlights of Noll’s contributions include providing homeowner-driven reconstruction and retrofitting technical assistance to 25,000 households in rural Nepal, and to 2,000 families in informal neighborhoods of Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

In both Haiti and Nepal, Noll had an impressive track-record of multi-year, multi-million dollar wins for Build Change. Noll further contributed to Build Change’s mission by leading the integration of technology into Build Change’s workstreams, notably by creating the New Frontier Technologies department in 2018.

In 2020 Noll was promoted to Build Change COO. After 12 years of service with Build Change, Noll resigned in the summer of 2021 to
take a prolonged sabbatical.

In October 2022, Noll returned to Build Change as Senior Business Developer for International Programs. In his new role, Noll will leverage his intricate knowledge of Build Change’s international programs, his connections and his B-to-B salesmanship skills to secure sustained streams of institutional funding for Build Change’s international programs, notably in Haiti, Honduras, Indonesia, The Philippines and Nepal.
