Chief Technology Officer
Bob Taylor joined Build Change with more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry, having worked from hands-on software development all the way up to the executive level. He brings both strategic and tactical leadership to the Build Change technology teams, and is focused on growing the impact of Build Change through innovative technology and business development.
Bob has technical expertise in software and hardware architectures, deployed from mobile to large-scale cloud systems, as well as agile development processes, scalable hosting and operations, security, and privacy. He has led teams both developing new businesses and at large scale, blending his technology background with business, legal (contract and intellectual property with seven granted patents), fundraising, marketing, and partnership development. He earned a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University and an M.S. in Engineering Management from Washington State University. He has board of directors experience in both the non-profit and technology consortium spaces.
