Creating Change

The Build Change three S’s – safety, sustainability, and satisfaction – simple goals of any housing or school construction program:

  • Safety: Houses and schools are built to save lives and prevent injuries in earthquakes and typhoons.
  • Sustainability: People will continue to build safe buildings after we leave, and resources are conserved.
  • Satisfaction: Homeowners and school community members own the process and are satisfied with the house or building.
